There’s an awesome ice cream in town, Brooklyn to be exact, and Blondie and I both love it. My treat on 4th of July was a cool cone from Ample Hills Creamery. This popular ice cream spot had to close after 4 days of first opening because their ice cream was completely sold out! For my first visit, there was a healthy line as well. They are doing it right with flavors that will excite. Their most popular flavor, featured by New York Mag, is Salted Crack Caramel, which Blondie mentioned before. After spending so much time in St. Louis this summer, I decided to get their Ooey Gooey Butter Cake flavor on a cone! WOW, Holey Moley, Yippee, Wahoo!!! Huge chunks of the cake was mixed in vanilla ice cream. Gooey Butter Cake is a St. Louis staple and is full of butter, sugar, and eggs. I love the creativity of their unique flavors. Ahhhh summer = ice cream!
